The original RAW was good, but come with some significant loss of detail. If you look below at a photo of a cat shot ISO 25600 from Imaging Resource. Meaning that if the subject is part of the AF AI trained model, then it will also benefit with its AI model as well for NR. I do not use OM Workspace for developing or editing so I can't speak to that, but I think the main unresolved issue was with firmware updates.Īnyone notices what I am noticing? That is, the AI NR in Workspace is not only reducing noise effectively, but also adding/recovering detail better on certain subjects? I am noticing a trend that what was trained for AI for Autofocus seemed to also include the same training model for AI NR and detail recovery.
Topaz video enhance ai 2.0.0 update#
I just did a firmware update on a E-M5 ii and I am able to save and load setting on the E-M1 II. I am using a Mac Mini M1 with Monterey 12.2.1 and OM Workspace 2.0.0, works perfectly.

With the previous version you could not do firmware updates even after following the instructions on security updates. That was not the case until this recent v2.0 update.

It is totally unacceptable that it requires this level of effort but if you are willing to make the changes in your security setting you will get the full functionality of the software again. Once you jump through all of those hoops the software will run, save and reload camera settings and do firmware updates. It does still require you to grant security privileges and change your security settings as described here: The M1/Monterey incompatibility with Olympus Workspace has been addressed with the new Workspace release being discussed here.
