A decent free one to get you started is. Some are free and others are paid and/or invite only. If you search the internet for private usenet indexers, you can likely find some to join. Next you’ll want to add your other indexers, preferably private ones if you can get in to them. Wombles is a free indexer that will find new releases, but only new releases. Next click the big plus sign to start adding indexers. You should be able to get that information from your Usenet account. First you’ll want to set the retention to whatever retention days your Usenet server uses. Now you’ll want to set up your indexers by clicking the Indexers tab. Then scroll down to the bottom and change Create empty series folders and Ignore Deleted Episodes to Yes. Then change the Season Folder Format setting to “Season ”. Start by clicking on settings, then On the Media Management tab, change Advanced Settings to Shown, then change Rename Episodes to Yes. You’ll be presented with the screen below. This will open up Sonarr in your web browser. First you’ll need to launch Sonarr from your program list. At some point, I’ll return to add instructions for SABnzbd should you use that as your downloader of choice. This guide will assume you’re are using NZBGet as your downloader. Now that Sonarr is installed, lets get it configured. Just run and accept the defaults and you’ll be on your way to watching your favorite series. It has a pretty simple and straightforward install.
